What is an Ultrasonic Facial? How does it work?
Our Ultrasonic Facial uses micro-current impulses that give instant, visible results to tighten, tone, and firm aging skin. Results have often been referred to as “non surgical face lifts”.
This machine sends painless impulses to the muscles in your face that help underworked muscles regain strength. Micro-current toning “re-educates” the facial muscles and restores back to their original shape.
Ultrasonic exfoliation creates a cavitation like effect which in turn expedites the exfoliation of the stratum corneum, leaving the skin smooth and fresh prepared for deep product penetration. It works by creating temporary pathways and encourages the penetration of product down these pathways. When this happens the visible results are dramatic, face is lifted, firmed and toned back to a much more youthful appearance. At the same time, the micro-currents improve circulation to your face which stimulates production of collagen, improves tone and texture, and improves or eliminates fine lines.
How many treatments are usually required?
Micro-current facial toning is cumulative, which means the more treatments you have, the more improvement you will see in your face. We recommend at least 4-10 treatments depending on the severity of your skin condition. However, most patients see visible results after just a single treatment. This gives “instant gratification” which is so rarely seen as a result of other anti-aging products or techniques.
